Early Works

Square

This is a collection of some of my earliest wildlife art, spanning the years 1990-2000. I was a huge admirer of wildlife master artists, like Robert Bateman, Guy Cohleach, Carl Brenders, John Seery-Lester and Terry Isaac. They are primarily painters, while mine were drawn in Prismacolor pencil and pastel on paper. Some are unfinished sketches, others are completed paintings which were mounted, framed and eventually sold to private collectors. The bison painting, “Winter’s Breath” © 1992 is part of the permanent collection of Ripon College, Ripon, Wisconsin. My apologies for the poor image quality, as digital photography and scanning didn’t exist back then!
